IT Technical Support

IT Technical Support

REIT Limited, a Bangladesh-based AI services and technical-delivery company, provides technical support with a written scope: which systems are covered, how to raise an issue, and how it is escalated.

What it is

IT technical support is a clearly scoped service that keeps business devices, applications and workplace systems working. It covers remote troubleshooting, device setup, access administration, connectivity assistance and backup checks, with defined coverage, a route for raising issues and a path for escalation.

What does scoped IT technical support cover?

Remote troubleshooting, device set-up, access administration, connectivity help and backup checks for an agreed list of systems, with published coverage hours, four priority levels and a response target for each.

Small technical faults interrupt work: a login that fails, a laptop that will not connect, an application that stops syncing, a backup nobody has checked. Without a defined support arrangement, the same person in the office fixes everything informally, and nothing is recorded.

A scoped service makes support predictable. It states what is covered, what is not, how to ask, and what happens when a problem is beyond first-line help.

Where does IT Technical Support fit?

Four situations where this service fits, with what each needs from you.

Illustrative example

Remote troubleshooting

Application errors, account problems and device faults are diagnosed and resolved remotely. Needs: a remote-access method you approve.

Illustrative example

Access administration

Accounts are created, changed and removed as people join, move and leave, following your approval rules. Needs: the systems in scope and who authorises changes.

Illustrative example

Device setup

New laptops and workstations are configured to an agreed standard. Needs: the standard build and licences.

Illustrative example

Backup checks

Backups are checked on a schedule and failures reported. Needs: access to backup reports and the retention rules.

What are the coverage hours and response targets?

The support desk is staffed Sunday to Friday, 08:00 to 22:00 Bangladesh time (GMT+6). Each request is given one of four priorities, and each priority has a response target measured from the moment the request is logged.

Priority levels and response targets

Priority 1Service down: a business system or live AI workflow is unavailable to all users30 minutesPhone and support channel, continuous work until restored

How does the process work?

The stages are colour-coded the same way across this website: input, processing, human approval, outcome.

  1. InputIssue raisedA user reports a problem through the agreed channel.
  2. ProcessingTriageThe issue is categorised and given a severity.
  3. ProcessingResolve remotelyThe fault is diagnosed and fixed where possible.
  4. Human approvalApprove or escalateAccess changes and risky fixes need your approval.
  5. OutcomeClosed and recordedThe action and outcome are logged for review.
Illustrative example How a support request moves. It is not a measured client result.

What result can it produce?

One engagement, with the measures agreed before the pilot and reported after launch.

A 32-person practice gets a support desk with published response targets

  • 14 minMedian first responselower, was no target
  • same dayNew-starter set-uplower, was 3 days
  • 12 of 12Backup restore tests passedhigher, was untested

The problem

IT problems went to whichever partner was nearby. There was no record of devices, no tested backup and new starters waited days for accounts.

What was built

  • An asset and access register for 41 devices and 58 accounts
  • A single support channel with four priority levels and response targets
  • Monthly backup restore tests and a report of issues, causes and recommendations

Where a person approves

The practice manager approves access changes, purchases and any change to backup or security settings.

The result

Median time to first response is 14 minutes in coverage hours. New starters receive a configured laptop and accounts on their first morning.

Limit found

On-site visits are outside this remote service; a local contractor handles cabling and hardware swaps under the practice's own agreement.

What does the published evidence say?

Figures from named surveys and official statistics, each with its source.

53%

of infrastructure and operations leaders report that their AI wins occur in IT service management.

28%

of AI use cases in infrastructure and operations fully succeed and meet return-on-investment expectations.

How is quality controlled?

Through acceptance checks agreed before the build, named approvers for sensitive actions, access limited to what you grant, monitoring with alerts, written recovery steps and a named owner after handover.

Coverage
Published coverage hours and four priority levels with response targets, shown on this page. The proposal lists the supported systems for your organisation.
Response targets
Targets by severity are set in the proposal, not on this page.
Escalation
Issues beyond first-line support go to a named senior engineer or to your vendor.
Approved changes
Configuration and access changes follow your approval rules and are recorded.
Security practice
Access follows least privilege, and credentials are handled through agreed secure methods.
Review
Recurring issues are summarised so the cause can be removed.

What does it cost and how do we start?

Work starts with a paid AI assessment of one process (USD 500, usually 5 working days). A scoped pilot follows (from USD 2,500), then implementation and support, each priced in a written proposal.

AI assessment

USD 500

5 working days

One process reviewed for fit, dependencies and risk.

Scoped pilot

from USD 2,500

3 to 4 weeks

One bounded use case built and tested on real cases.

Production implementation

from USD 6,000

6 to 10 weeks

The accepted pilot hardened, connected and launched.

Sample pricesPrices exclude third-party licences, model usage and taxes. The proposal sets the final price for your scope. Invoices are issued in USD; GBP, EUR and AUD are available on request.

The first step is an AI assessment of one process or one bounded task. It establishes whether the work is a sound candidate, what it depends on, and what a pilot would cover. An enquiry is a request for that conversation; it is not an appointment or an order.

Build work is quoted in the proposal that follows the assessment. Third-party licences, model usage and hosting are recurring costs and are shown separately from implementation. Ongoing support is a separate arrangement with its own scope. See How We Work for how the stages differ.

Questions buyers ask

What does IT technical support cover, and what does it not cover?

It covers remote troubleshooting, device setup, access administration, connectivity assistance and backup checks for the systems listed in the proposal. It does not cover hardware purchase or repair, systems outside the agreed list, or round-the-clock cover unless the proposal states it. Anything outside scope is escalated or quoted separately.

How is IT technical support different from AI system support?

IT technical support resolves issues with everyday business technology: devices, accounts, applications and connectivity. AI system assurance and support maintains deployed AI and automation: evaluating outputs, monitoring runs, reviewing permissions and managing releases. A business may need one or both; they are scoped separately so each has clear responsibilities.

Can a company outside Bangladesh use this service?

Yes, for work that can be done remotely. Remote troubleshooting, access administration and monitoring do not depend on location. Working hours, overlap with your time zone and the support channel are agreed in the proposal. On-site visits are limited to Dhaka and only where confirmed as available.
